I'm gonna make it

Feeling better...seems to have left me. Had a great weekend...Sat Rhonda was in town and we went to dinner with ehr friend Amy and her parents, Thel and Boyd. We had more fun at dinner than I've had in a while. What a hoot. Then yesterday I went to my parents' friends' home for dinner and met a judge in Dayton. Very nice. He gave me some tips on Federal Jobs. Today I am sending more resumes then going to the YMCA to exercise. Oh yes, and Gorm and I took Emmitt out walking yesterday for an hour on the Loveland Bike Trail. Good weekend.
Robert...are you in trial? I miss your comments...and you too of course...email me soon and let me know you are well

Yup,

I'm in trial. We had our first week and the jury is already looking to mutiny.

This is one crazy case. On one hand, the judge is letting everything in, on the other, she is putting strict time limits on our direct and redirects.

To top it off, we have yet to go a full day. We are supposed to go 10 to 4. Today, for example, the judge's calendar cut into trial time. We did not get started until 1.3 hours after we should have. We broke for lunch and, because of a juror's prior commitment, we only took an hour of testimony after lunch. We did not get in even two hours of testimony today.

The judge thinks she can cram a 5 week trial into two weeks. Good-frigging-luck!

I am so frigging exhausted I have circles around the circles of my eyes!
