Wedding Bells???????????????
Well...normally I wouldn't post anything until the ring is on my finger, however, I don't think anyone reads this anymore...so...here goes. Did I tell you all I am dating Jeff Oxenham? Last night we picked out the ring and he bought it so we should be engaged in like 2 weeks!!! I am dying to tell people but really can't until the ring is on the finger....really dying to tell my parents...but he wants to ask my Dad so I have to be patient. But I can tell my non-existent bloggers...the setting is a thin band of diamonds and the center stone is a cushion cut blue sapphire and it is gorgeous!!! Will post when it all goes down...we are going to NY Dec 11 so I suspect we will come home engaged!!!

How did it get to July already?
What's up bloggers. I think Robert is my only fan left:) hehe. No one told me about the mouse and that is HYSTERICAL. I know she was glad that Flores case is over.
Let's see, not much new to report. I was busy over the weekend going to my Dad's family reunion. It had been 15 years since I had seen his family. It seemed like I had just seen them all very recently but it had really been 15 years. Just another sad reminder how fast life is flying by. I loved my paternal grandmother more than I can really express with words. She was my only grandparents I had and she died when I was 13. I miss her every day. Her younger 2 siblings were there. Willard is 93 and Irene, the baby, is 85 and has alzheimers. I was prepared for her to not know who I was but it was AWESOME because she walked right up to me and said Lisa. She knew me. She kept smiling at me the whole day. She didn't say much but she was looking at me like she knew and she knew that I knew...it was cool. Her mannerisms reminded me so much of my grandmother it was hard to watch.
This weekend is a baby shower for Shawna. Christy is pregnant too. They are all dropping like flies. I almost have no single friends left here.
Emmitt is doing great. He's the happiest dog on earth. He warms my heart every day.
Work is good but I have met my first prick lawyer I hate in Ohio. It took 6 months so that is a nice improvement from LA. It would have taken 6 hours there to find a prick lawyer to hate. It's an improvement.
I hope all is well with you all, lis

It has been ages since I posted
and I am sure I don't even have an audience anymore...but today I decided to blog a bit. After talking to my friend Shirley about an exciting case she just settled, three continents of travel, and a full year of decompression...I finally miss my old life...a little. Not enough to go back...but I finally feel like I could take it on again. I was at burn out a year ago. Major burn out...like slit my wrists if I read another medical record burn out...but now...I kind of miss it. I really love my new job and really love all th epeople I work with and I adore my hours...but a little part of me misses it.
Anyway, all is well. I booked a vaca o Costa Rica leaving Sept 18 so I will have some wanderlusting to report and I just got back from a weekend in Nashville....oops I mean trashville. It was kinda yucky.
I have contacted the Cincinnati Enquirer about being a food reviewer since I enjoy trying all the new spots in town. And I am considering buying a kayak. You are now up to date on most of my life...lis
